More Information

Infants and young children up to 6 years old benefit greatly from the fatty acid DHA, as their brains are still developing. An impressive 40% of the polyunsaturated fatty acids in the brain consist of DHA. The body can produce DHA on its own, but it certainly benefits from ready-made DHA from sources such as fish oil. For young children, we recommend the MorDHA Kids (contains 241 DHA per softgel). Children over 6 years old can switch to a supplement that contains more of the omega-3 fatty acid EPA, such as the MorEPA kids 6+.

The Eye Q Capsules also contain relatively more EPA than DHA. The EPA:DHA ratio of these chewable capsules is 4:1.

Note: Many products that were previously suitable for children from as young as 1 year now have a minimum age of 3 years. This is due to a new European regulation. This adjustment is not necessarily related to the content or dosage of the capsules, but rather to the fact that young children could choke on the chewable capsules. If you place the contents of the capsules on a teaspoon first, you can also give these products to young children.
