Bought these Dim capsules for my daughter and {***} She only took one capsule a day due to her age and weight and still found it beneficial, so I can wholeheartedly recommend Dim capsules to every woman.
I bought this as a replacement for the DIM complex, which has been discontinued. Unfortunately, this product is considerably less effective for me.
The compound indole-3-carbinol can be found in various cruciferous vegetables such as Brussels sprouts, kale, and broccoli. In the stomach, indole-3-carbinol is partially converted into di-indolyl-methane (DIM) and several other active substances. Vitaminstore's indole-3-carbinol contains no less than 400 mg of indole-3-carbinol per daily dosage, a broccoli extract (standardised to 10% glucoraphanin) and a broccoli powder to support the action of DIM.
Broccoli (Brassica oleracea)
Broccoli was already cultivated in Roman times. That is why broccoli is also called the Italian Brassica (Brassica oleracea Italica). The name broccoli is derived from the Italian "brocco", meaning "shoot". Besides being a tasty vegetable to eat, broccoli (and most other cabbages) contains relatively high amounts of vitamin C, A, K, B2, B6, folic acid, and minerals such as iron, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Nowadays, broccoli is increasingly in the spotlight because it contains the highest concentrations of sulphur compounds (glucosinolates) of all cabbages.

These glucosinolates are found in various vegetables from the cruciferous family (Brassica). There are more than 120 types of glucosinolates! The glucosinolate that is richly found in broccoli is glucoraphanin. This is converted by an enzyme in the body into sulforaphane. Sulforaphane, along with indole-3-carbinol, is one of the two most researched substances from broccoli. And rightly so... Science never stands still!
Indole-3-carbinol
Indole-3-carbinol breaks down in the stomach's low pH into various other bioactive substances. These include ICZ, NI3C, IAN, and the better-known DIM (diindolylmethane). All these substances have a unique, standalone effect, but they also work together for a powerful effect in the body.
Vitamin E
This unique product also contains vitamin E and black pepper extract. Vitamin E is known for its antioxidant properties. It helps the body's natural defence system by contributing to the elimination of free radicals. In this way, vitamin E helps maintain healthy cells and tissues.
