Herbs for calmness and relaxation
When experiencing tension, anxiety or unrest, or if you are temporarily faced with a stressful situation (such as an exam or driving test), you can make use of calming herbs such as valerian, and for example lavender oil. If there is a long-term source of tension, you can also utilise so-called adaptogenic herbs. You can read more about this on our page regarding stressful circumstances.

More Information
When we are restless, we do not feel comfortable in our own skin. Our muscles are tense and our breathing is shallow. Often, restlessness is also accompanied by sleep problems and a tendency to seek solace in chemical sedatives or alcohol. Therefore, relaxation is extremely important for a healthy and active life. It is possible to naturally calm both body and mind, for instance through breathing exercises, meditation, and dance.
