I have been using these capsules for years... In the summer, I take one a day and in the winter, I take two a day. I notice that I feel very well and my immunity is also better.

I would like to take this for extra vitamin D and A. Why is the recommended dose only 1 per day? There is only a small amount of vitamins A and D in it. Can I take 3 per day? Some formulas contain much more D and A. Or is it related to the fish oil that's also in it, which you might not want to take too much of at once because it's oil? Or what is the difference between cod liver oil and a regular high-dose vitamin A and D supplement?
