What exactly is a Shaving Bar?
It is a plastic-free alternative to shaving foam or gel! The Shaving Bar from HappySoaps is a product we developed together with a number of loyal customers. It actually resembles a well-known product; shaving soap. But what's the difference? Very important; Our Shaving Bar contains no soap at all.
Soap is a very beautiful natural ingredient. However, it has a couple of problems; the pH value is extremely high and soap has very strong degreasing properties. For more sensitive body parts such as the intimate zone, but actually also, for example, your legs, shaving soap is therefore not suitable. It can cause dryness, irritation, and an imbalance in the pH value of your skin.
In our Shaving Bar, we have developed a solution for this! We use a combination of very mild, sulfate-free foaming agent (which you can also find in more expensive Baby Shampoos) and natural oils and butters to ensure that our Shaving Bar is super mild for your skin. The oils and butters in our bar ensure that the razor glides easily over your skin and you can enjoy smooth skin without irritation!
