Vegan vitamin D - free from animal ingredients
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is typically derived from lanolin (wool fat), which is obtained from sheep's wool. No sheep need to be killed for this; they are merely sheared. For many vegetarians, this is an acceptable source. However, for vegans in general, it is not.
