MSM
MSM stands for methylsulfonylmethane, an organic sulphur compound. Sulphur is present as MSM in various foods (including sulphur-containing amino acids L-cysteine and L-methionine) and is of great importance for our health, but it is largely lost during cooking. MSM consists of 34% sulphur, 34% oxygen, 26% carbon, and 6% hydrogen bonds. It is an important component of connective tissue.
